James Kontolios for Council
Leadership That Delivers for Ridgefield
Leadership That Delivers for Ridgefield

On Council, James was on the Finance Committee, where he worked to control spending, secure grant funding, and protect essential borough services while keeping municipal taxes stable. With municipal taxes now set to rise, James is running to restore fiscal discipline and reduce the burden on Ridgefield taxpayers.

James Kontolios opposed the proposed 60-unit irresponsible development behind Carpenter Place and other projects that would bring overcrowdedness to Ridgefield. During his time on the Council, he built a strong record of opposing overdevelopment that could strain police, fire, public works, schools, roads, and other municipal resources. He will continue fighting to protect Ridgefield’s residents.

James worked with the State Government to secure $500,000 for the Wolf’s Creek cleanup and retaining-wall repairs. This funding helped address a major infrastructure need without placing the full cost on Ridgefield taxpayers. Learn more here.
